PPSC Rules for selection against quota
 

I want to know about the PPSC rules for quota allocation.
the Scenario is PPSC announced 586 posts of Pharmacists. Out of which 334 are open merit seats and 252 are quota seats (including special persons, non Muslims, women and special zone).
Total candidates who passed the test are 475.
It is written at the result notification that no candidate passed the test against any quota seat.
My question is whether the pass candidates will only compete for 334 open merit seats or quota seats also?
if a candidate passes the interview but cannot secure his position on merit, will he/she be selected on his/her respective quota or not?

40 passing marks. below 40 failed. due to failure of large no of .candidate no one in quota.
