How much is pay of District zakat officer BS-17?

Kindly tell me How much is pay of District zakat officer BS-17?

some are saying it is only 30k

but as far as i know BS-17 officers get 1 lakh at least or 90k around.

do departments offer different salary packages?

30370 is the basic pay of freshly appointed BPS 17 Officer, with all allowances, it reaches to around 53000.

Nowhere a BPS 17 starting salary is 100000, unless he is on contract and they draw the same salary throughout their contract period, or there are some special allowances added to the salary of some Officers of different departments, like Executive Allowance for PAS/PMS Officers, Audit & Accounts Allowance to PA&AS Officers etc.

Yes, different departments have different salaries but as I said, the basic pay is almost same (more or less), it just the difference of allowances offered by different departments which make the difference in gross salary.

Yes. these information are correct. in 2016 on BS17bpay for contractual employee in Punjab Govt was around 50000 without any other deduction if gratuity except tax while for employees appointed through PPSC salary in hand of employee was around 37000 after deductions of gratuity etc. Best
