Default Age relaxation for govt servant for the post of Tehsildar

Dear seniors kindly guide whether age relaxation rule for govt servants are applicable for the post of tehsildar or not? As per civil servants rules that the period served in govt service will be reduced from their age.kindly guide as early as possible

Those Govt. Servants who are working under the Govt. Of Punjab are entitled for age relaxtion.

Sir one last question.is there any rule that an employee of higher scale can apply against the post of lower scale in different department under the same govt? Means an officer of bs 17 can apply against the post of bs 16 through proper channel?

There is one rule under which a civil servant can apply against the same scale subject to meet the query of his concerned department.

As per prevalent laws a Govt employee cannot be given NOC for a lower grade.

But i have seen many govt servant of bs 18 attempted css exam for the post of bs17.How could they can?

It may be rule relating with Occupational Groups.
