What is Post of Assistant (BS-14) in Police Department?
 

Which is this post : " POSTS OF ASSISTANT (BS-14) IN THE PUNJAB POLICE DEPARTMENT." is it ASI post?

Someone must have done Graduation to give it's papers or a person with intermediate qualification can also apply for this?

No,These are not ASI Posts.[B]Assistant in Punjab Police [/B]is Ministerial Post...These assistants perform their duties in Respective District Police Officer's Office.

P.S,The Paying scale for ASI is 11,while for Assistant is 14.

ASI works on BS-9
SI = 14

Basically ASSISTANT is a clerical post and normally ASI, SI etc do their job in field.

Assistant in Police Department is actually Head Clerk, can be posted in any office from DPO to IGP

ASI = BS 11

Assistant in Punjab Police
 

I am an Assistant in Punjab Police and was selected in 2008. Till my joining time I did not know for what post I am selected.
ASI is in BPS-9 while Assistant is in BPS-14. the starting pay of Assistant in punjab police is nearly Rs. 22,000/- per month.
Assistant are posted in I.G. office, in Regional Police Offices, District Police offices, Police Headquarters etc. As per Police rules, Assistant are not posted with anyone who is junior than SP rank.
On promotion, an assistant becomes a Superintendent (BPS-16), and on his next promotion becomes Assistant Director (BPS-17).
Assistant Director is a newly created post which is only in Punjab Police.
The work of an assistant is not of being head clerk but an assistant performs his duties regarding Administration, noting/drafting, transfer/posting, etc. But it is a non-uniformed/civil post of official working. If anyone want to apply, then I have past paper of the said post.

About which kind of help you require? Assistant in Police Department usually Posted IG Office (CPO) ,and the paper of Assistant MCQs types and also write an essay , precise. etc

all the assistants get 20000 or just those who are working in police department?
what about those who work in other places?

The said salary package of 20,000/- plus salary is only offered in Punjab Police for Assistant. In other departments, there is less pay.
The exam will only be held in Lahore, most probably in Examination Centre, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Lahore.

Uniform for Assistants
 

There is another news for those who are applying for the post of Assistant in Punjab police that uniform is being allowed to Assistants and they will wear the uniform of Sub Inspector.
