My cousion has been inducted in pervaiz elahi era TOtally on safrish basis and rite now he is tmo iqbal town lhr... Its completely a useless post even pays bhi nahi malti proprly ..these r useful only for those ppl who have strong political links secondly tmo r regularly insulted by dmg officers and their acadmey is in gujrat..anyway my cousion was totally selected on safarish coz he didnt even write his name in english properly and when he was selected i think in 2006 or 2007......but still he is dependent on his father.....

TMO is BS-17 Govt. Servant then how it is possible that he even didn't receive his salary...??? secondly why they are insulted by PAS officers...?? TMO is principal accounting officer of tehsil....now these jobs are going to be announced through PPSC which is credible organization.....anyone else can please elaborate....

He told me now rite now that govt give us pay in check form not online and sometimes i didnt get pay of 2 ,3 months.....and not a single peny of else tooo coz mpas mnas take all the budget of union councils

Because salary budget of Tehsil or District Municipal Offices is not affiliated with Accounts General Of Province. EVER HEARD OF AG PUNJAB ? that means no online salary system. TMA generates its own budget and prepares salaries autonomously as per the wish of MPA oar MNA of the area. No one cares about the proper and equal payment to all the employees of TMA.

Secondly in local govt. the deadliest of all issues is salary issue. funds are plundered politically and office runs short of balance for paying emoluments regularly, every month.
Last but not the least, if you are posted anywhere in field offices you'll be paid salary.
if you are reported to secretary (that means your services are held in headquarters) you are paid nothing.. you just wait for your posting. this period of waiting is so so so so so long that sometimes ten years pass by but employes can not be posted because they do not have political recommendation or they can not pay demanded sums as bribe to the staff of Secretary Local Govt Board.
In this case awaiting officers of grade 16 or 17 do private jobs and earn their living. There status is just like unemployeed fellows.

thanks for your really valuable contribution..... if the situation is so much worse then this post is useless..... i have heard from a PMS officer that TMO post carries reasonable perks and privileges....someone is also saying that TMO is provided official residence and vehicle with ""neeli bati" .....but you are saying that they dont even get salary.....furthermore kindly clarify your point where you mentioned that TMOs have to wait for so so so many years to get postings....what does it means....?? if they are not assigned any jobs and they are doing private jobs to earn there livings then why municipal department recruits TMOs.....administrator of TMA is AC or DCO then he will use the financial powers then whats the role of mpa or mna.....??? kindly also share the promotional ranks of TMOs.....
