Brother.this is not a fair evaluation. We should not blame the examiners for our own mistakes.Had CSS been a matter of luck only, people would not have spent years of hardwork to qualify it.
Dear first of all nothing in this world is 100%. I neither said nor i meant that CSS is by chance only, i think i have little insight to know that it is not a ludo game where you cast a dice and keep fingers crossed about the number that you desire.

But does it really mean that those with exceptional adroitness at English language will never fail? and Those with pathetic English language skills will never pass it? Logic says that if the English papers really test the skills of candidates accurately then above mentioned consequences must always be true.

But i have empirical evidence to corroborate my claims that these two papers do not have neither reliability nor validity. I know many people who are that bad at English that you get awe struck at their success in CSS, if it had been average i would not have pointed it out, but believe me they are really bad at it, while on the other hand there are some people who fail in either or both of the two papers i-e Essay and Composition. This tells that these are not Valid. Further one person who is first time successful but next time fail it or vice versa, it puts a question mark on their reliability.

Brother nothing succeeds like success, those who are successful have every right to boast on their success and we have every reason to believe on them because success is the ultimate judge but certainly not the just one.

Authentic Suggestions needed

Suppose we went through the Screening Test and passed it in 2013, but we dont want to appear in CE 2014. Does it mean we have lost 1 chance of CSS?
Does appearing in screening test only (not the CSS exam) means we have used 1 chance of appearing in CSS?

Regards.

if u r a competitive person then no need to worry

dear all, there is no need to worry about any test announced by fpsc.... the fact is that a competitive person need not to worry about any test.... i am an engineer from uet lahore...i have seen so much non-serious candidates in css...real crammers... with poor academic record...i wounder how a person who has secured 2nd division in fsc be able to clear css???.... its prejudice with those who have excellent academic record....and regarding screening test..all crammers are worried as they would have left with less time to cram marks rewarding subjects....i suggest screening of academic record also so that only deserving candidates can be rewarded.....

well a 200 mark mcq based exam is much more easier for a crammer than a 1200 mark exam having theoretical questions requiring knowledge and analytical skills moreover..from medical to engineering every field requires to some extent cramming so no one can say he is not a crammer
if some one has talent eh can shine in a millions, poor academic record doesn't mean you take away someone's right to excel by hard work.here on this forum students from all backgrounds and educational fields visit in quest of chasing their dream such remarks can surely create a negative impact
