brother,

thanks for sharing this guideline for PCS syllabus.

But why they have not include topics like
1. Approaches to IR
2. Nation-State Theory
3. Nationalism
4. Balance of Power
5. Foreign Aid

These topics are very important in IR study or not?

Of course these are the topics of pivotal value in the subject like international relations, but when it comes to SPSC, there is characteristically a concise syllabus for nearly all subjects.

Well PCS has been conducted by SPSC after every 3-4 years. Earlier it was expected that PCS is going to be announced in start of 2012 but it has been delayed due to unknown reasons, the dates are not fixed for this exam, it can be announced any time surprisingly.

Except CSS and Armed forces commissions almost no any department has fixed schedule.
