Default SPSC CCE 2003 SCAM and investigation Findings

KARACHI: The discrepancies on massive scale have been revealed in Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) Examinations 2003 in which the close relatives of SPSC and government officials declared successful instead of successful candidates after tempering the results.

According to report, 2555 candidates took part in SPSC examinations 2003 for grade 16 and 17 posts among which 531 candidates declared successful in written test and after interview, total 77 announced successful.

A youth Saleem Sheikh had challenged the results in Sindh High Court against tempering in results.

A three-member committee consists of Chairman Shah Mansoor Alam and Abrar Hussain Mirza and Nawaz Ali Leghari had been formed to investigate the issue. Sources said that the committee after rechecking of the copies has disclosed that many candidates among 77 are failed but they had been declared successful after tempering in the results whereas copies of two candidates Ayan Mustafa Bhutto and Dr. Nisar A Leghari are missing. Large number of successful candidates are the children of government officials.

The evidences indicated the involvement of high officials of SPSC and control examination Umar Zor in the whole process.

According to sources, 47 candidates declared successful were failed and currently all of them serving duties at key government posts after passing six years.

The enquiry committee recommended to declare SPSC examinations 2003 results as void and consider the entire examination process of 2003 as forge and illegal.

Default very shocking

its truly very shocking news coverage. if they have to recruit only handpicked persons ,then why playing with the future of thousands of candidates..i too give up my well paid job to dedicate my maximum time to take up the exam , and win on the grounds of merit in CCE2008. And its very disheartening to know, about our fellow member, its a disgusting example of meritocide.you could have approched the court, to voice your case. i had been very optimistic that despite favoritism and neoptism, merit wins, but i feel i will have to change my perspective. ALLAH rehm kary, baki asan wat dua ha siwai koi byo hithyaar kon ahey. Allah saeen please!!!thanks
regards

I think the matter should not be politicized by mentioning any political party here...the issue of cce 2003 is related to corruption...and thanks God it has successfully come to the fore... now a great deal of good can be expected from cce 2009...Even then hope and pray for the best...

Default alarm for this exam

decision of cce 2003 is in the hand of High court.
But,it is alarm for the the corrupt officers for 2008-9 that if they do this it can be the same situation next time.

Default what to next

We should emphasize to honorable Court, Government of Sindh and present SPSC chairman that following steps should be taken:

1. The former alleged Chairman Mr. Bhutto, along with his members and Controller Mr. Zounr should be brought in front of honorable court for accountability.

2. The re-interview should be conducted of 77 successful candidates in written exam 2003 and new merit list should be advanced.

3. For CCE-2008 the two extra externals should be in interviewers as members one from honorable court and one from Federal Govt. for the transparency of the system
