Yes. A candidate with MBA Finance can apply for the post of Lecturer in Commerce. One of my friends with MBA in Finance is serving as Lecturer Commerce in Education and Literacy Department Sindh.

this is what the four years bachelor degree that is equivalant masters degree, but dear here is the question that is MBA equal to M.COM? so far the syllabus of both the degrees is concerned that is equal to each other, but as per my knowledge in terms of degree equivalent t both the degrees are not equivalent.
Summary: one with MBA is not eligible to apply for commerce lecturer.
if any one is dis-agree he/she has to give solid argue with proof against my statement.

MBA can apply for Lecturer Commerce at SPSC, there exists such notification at SPSC, so one should not be worried, I have asked from SPSC officials who are experts in scrutiny of applications, they gave me many instances for this
