No its not a mistake.Many here are aware that merit may not be prevalent in SPSC entirely but many deserving candidates do get jobs on sheer merit.Moreover,total nepotism is out of question because judiciary and candidates are very active and they know about their rights.

However,to expect total justice and merit from SPSC would be futile i think.Therefore,try to fall among top few so that allocation can be possible.
