Computer Programmer BS 16 SPSC Interview
 

I've interview for said post in SPSC head office Hyderabad on 7 September 2018, Anyone who has been through the interviews at SPSC for any post please share any details. Because i dont know what will be their focus, is it pure field stuff or they may ask anything from GK or Islamiat

How was your Interview? I was expecting technical interview but it turns out they want to check my General Knowledge. They asked me about many abbreviations.

What was your marks in written test by the way? Mine was 68

Technical Part was okay, but GK was not very satisfying
 

I qualified the interview, it lasted 30minutes, 15 of which were pure technical questioning. This part went perfectly okay.
But later on they asked GK and Excise related general questions, On GK part few of the questions were irrelevant. But i expressed my opinions on excise related general questions quite openly and candidly. That might have worked in my favor.
P.S as per the Key, my written score was 58.25

What was the passing criteria? 50?

I think it was 55
 

as per the score of my friends who appeared along with me in written. I think the criteria was 55. They scored 52, 54. I believe the criteria may vary, depending on the overall highest score achieved by any individual

so those who secured 52 score were they called for interview?

Your score seems pretty average, what was the highest score by the way? And did anyone with score better than yours qualify?
