[SIZE=4]English paper:[/SIZE]

1. Essay, précis, translation (the first 3 questions) were very easy.
2. Rest was fine. The vocabulary was a much easier as compared to 2002 paper. There were no analogies.

I gave the title to the précis as “Evolution of Horse”. My précis was of 58 words, out of total 160 words passage.

The questions in GK paper were more of [B]specific[/B] knowledge than general knowledge. A great proportion was of EDS part was assigned to inventions and discoverers. Geography included only the Geography of Pakistan & of Sindh, not the World Geography. Not a single question was asked about capitals, currencies, UN agencies, world records, etc. I am sure about 32 questions. Rest all were guesses!

I wasted a lot of time in studding the world records & world geography :(

There were hardly a few questions related to Current Affairs

A few questions had all incorrect option. For example,
Planet with most satellite: Saturn (no option available)
Heart of Quran: Surah Yaseen (no option available)

So, I wrote these options as (E) option & encircled it.

Some of the questions were [B]teasers[/B] for the candiadates. I was litteraly laughing at following question:

Q) The great poet of Sindh Hazrat [B]Sachal Sarmat[/B] in a specific [B]Sur[/B] refereed to a [B]buffalo[/B]. What was the [B]origin[/B] of that buffalo specie?
A) Badin district
B) Nawabshah district
C) Larh district

Secondly , I guess 40 Marks must be taken from each paper ;aggregately 50%.Result is expected within 8-9 months.

SPSC is one of the examination conducting agency, which has been part to the lapeses since its start. it does not guide the candidates properly to prepare themselves for the exam.
1. As the papers of Mukhtiarkar are observed, the candidates who are preparing themselves for the CSS also confused, looking at the second paper because it contained such quarries which were not found under the study of candidates.

2. The common concept as belived and schooled about the surahs is that we believe Surah Yaseen as the heart of Holy Quran but the the question carrying options were different.
