please may i know what is the salary and other benifits and incentives given to bps 17, in education department in sindh government?

One of my brothers is serving in BPS-17 as subject specialist since 1995, his current salary is nearly 40.
Newly appointed BPS-17 lecturers or subject specialist are drawing salary in the range of 18-20.

Bro Raz As you mentioned your brother is serving since 1995 in BPS-17, pease may i know that the promotion process is such slow in education department or all the departments of sindh government?

p.s : Besides what is the normal tenure to work in any specific grade, i mean within how many years one iseligible for the next promotion?

In education and concerened departments PhD is essential in relevant subject for speedy promotions. Without doctorate one gets promotion but it takes ages.
