Default The Question of Domicile.

When the subject of government exams arises, an often discussed factor is that of Domicile.

Some claim that having a rural domicile is advantageuos qouting various pros like low levels of competitions and favourable marking themes. While on the flip side, there are proponents who claim that urban domicile is give preferance.

The issue of domicile is shrouded with a lot of mystery and importance. Is it really of pivitol importance or merely an over hyped conjuncture?

My understanding (or rather confusion) is that in the past decades having a rural domicile did enhance your chances of success but in the present scenario, urban domicile holders are preffered by the institutions of various service commisions. The reason Im told is that there is a severe lack of candidates appearing from the urban centres and this vaccum is undesirable by the selectors, hence the importance to the urban domicile.

How much of this is true? does having a spcific domcile indeed help one is securing a post in the bureacracy?

Honesty is the best policy so apply on that domicile which u originally possess. changing domicile is dishonesty, cheating , illegal and illegitimate.

ur rite bro, Honesty is the best policy and we must exercise it in our daily lives.

The thing is that I have ancestral lands in rural Sindh jurisdiction and am in the position to have my domicile made from that area.

I was wondering if it really does make a difference, then I will have it made, while i have heard that it does have benefits, but i don't really know how it works. After all if I can have it made legally and rightfully and it will benefit me, there is no reason why I shouldn't go for it.

Can u please tell me how it effects the candidates chances of selection in the CCE? kind regards,

god of war...........
