Default Sindh Management Service

As per one reliable source in Sindh Govt. that soon all cadres specially PCS and PSS will be merged and a new service called Sindh Management Service is going to be formed on the pattern of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa and Punjab. All officers of this service can be posted anywhere in Secretariate and other departments. I consider this move of Sindh Govt. will further deteriorate the governance in Sindh as huge number of officers will only be struggling for getting postings rather than delivering good governance and following the norms of honesty.

Dosto duaon me yaad rakhiyega as I am going abroad next week for my MSC on scholarship.

Thanks for your dua as I need it for my future endeavors abroad. Dear one reliable source in Sindh Secretariat have linkages in S&GAD who told me this and said work had been going on for the formation of this service since last many months and it was done secretely. I can't take his name and I am sorry for that. He told me that all old and fresh officers of PSS and PCS who came through proper examination conducted by SPSC will be merged in this new cadre. This service will be announced in Sindh and Balochistan in coming months.

This will create extra pressure on posts which are not that many in numbers and officers will only be staying on few months on one posts and they will be transferred or side lined because of political culture in Sindh Govt. This service will mainly remove restrictions for officers from other services and departments in filed jobs in districts and tehsils.

@Solangi

This act will include or merge all previous and future officers of PSS and PCS in one cadre and it will take at least one year or so to be implemented. This will not only enlarge the scale of corruption but also create uncertainty among officers about postings and tenure they stay on one position. Thousands of officers will be approaching less number of jobs. Dear don't pose any other question as I don't want to indulge in any discussion regarding jobs in Sind Govt. I had this information and shared with all those who are interested in same and I don't have any further info regarding this act of Sindh Govt. I am leaving the country for studies and wish all of you a good and honest future.
