Default Help need regarding SPSC Advertisement no 02/2012
I want to apply for Assistant Chief Inspector of stamps as well as Inspector of stamps.

Can I apply to both positions? I have done MBA.

And am I eligible because I am 24 years old while the "Assistant Chief Inspector of stamps" post lists age from 30-35... and Inspector of stamps lists age as 25-30.

Please help as I am worried and monday is the last date.

Dear initially you can not apply for the said posts as you are below age limits. However you can still apply for Inspector of stamps after having age relaxed from the secretary of concerned department.. I have seen many cases.

Age Relaxation is normally in the case when people exceed the age limit which is required. But in this case when they deliberately hv demanded pplz wd minimum age of 30 im not really sure whether they wud grant age relaxation

and if they rdoin so, thn whts de use of putting tht minimum age of 30 yrs in de newspaper?

How many months/years do you exactly require to become eligible? Age limit upto 1 year is relaxed by secretary of the concerned deptt. Upto 3 years minister and chief secretary can grant and for more summary is forwarded to cheif Minister. I think in case where lower age limit is relaxed you'll not be granted relaxation more than 1 year, so can only apply for Inspector of stamps only. Write an application and submit it to secretary of concerned deptt.

Well lower age limit is not granted to all, but can be relaxed in few conditions when a person fulfills all the criteria and is ineligible for the post due to short of age only.

I am 23 years old and turning 24 next month.
This age problem is a nuisance. I am not applying to these positions.
One of the person I know has applied and is 22 years old. Lets see if he receives the test slip.

I am dead sure that he'll receive rejection letter as institutions like SPSc checks eligibility of the candidates in all respects.

Respected ones, I am in the need of spsc past paper regarding Inspector of Stamps. would anybody has any idea about what syllabus pertains the position or what is this position's core subjects etc,. please be to the point.
