Light is made up of seven colours out of which three are primary colours and four are secondary colours.
Example is the Rainbow. Therefore how can you say that light is made-up of three colours only.

Actually light has white colour only but when it falls on a shiny surface it reflects back into seven different colours.
Newton had observed this phenomena through Prism.

I was answering that Indian flag has three colours :dd as I quoted the answer given by ridaf. This question can not be found in Physics book as you quoted above in previous post. thori buht physics mujhe bhi aati he bhai meny bhi matric kia he..;)
