Note:- All papers except in easy, shall be of three hours duration. The time allowed for the
essay shall be two hours in each case.

. If a candidate’s handwriting is not easily legible a deduction which may be considerable, may be made on this account from the total marks secured by him/her.

. Credit will be given for good English including orderly, effective and exact expression combined with due economy of words in all subjects of the examination and not only in subjects which are specially devoted to English.

. Names of candidates who qualify shall be arranged in order of merit according to the aggregate marks obtained at the examination.


Note:- In the event of a tie, the order of merit shall be determined in accordance with the
highest marks secured in the viva voce, Should the marks in the Viva voce of the candidates be equal then the order of merit shall be decided in accordance with the highest marks obtained by such candidates in the aggregate of the compulsory subjects.

Indian history and Islamic history both are in same group and we have to choose only one subject from group (b) and you can opt one history subject with islamiyat

AOA , My subjects in css were psychology , geography , sociology and journalism however i am totally confused which subjects should be opted in PCS ? ? ?
my preferences are
1)Ethics and psychology
2)Islamiat (urdu medium) Is urdu medium is there or not ? ? ?
3)geography
4)sociology
5)journalism
but the gravest problem is that all above subjects belong to GROUP E , Secondly are the above subjects scoring or not if scoring then which 2 subjects are highly scoring ? ? ?
kindly suggest me the remaing 1 subject which would also help me in css and furthermore keep in mind that i am not inclined towards history subjects . . .

Islamiat is an optional here and you can only opt in English.
From all these subjects you can opt only two subjects as per your aptitude, you have to look for an other subject from any other group.
