But i think that RS. khurmi book is for Civil Engineers(BE or BSc level) not for Sub civil Engineers(DAE level), because it is a bit advanced and according to the syllabus of BE or Bsc Civil Engineering. And usually these Engineers use this book for the posts like, SDO(17 grade) or Assistant Executive Engineer(17 grade), then why would a sub civil engineer use this kind of book? One is R. Agor book famous for Civil Engineers. But sub civil Engineer should find a simple book according to their syllabus or should study the basics given in their own text books. Survey, Structure and Fluid mechanics should be the focus.

I don't know about the book you mentioned, but i think that would be for graduate civil engineers, still too advanced to be studied for sub engineer's posts.
I would advise you to stick to your own text books, generally i would suggest you to study these subjects.
1)cover basics of structure, like strength of materials(shear force, bending moment, stress, strain, some basic unit conversions, types of beams, types of loads, columns, types of columns, basics of trusses, some basics of slabs, different grades of steels used in construction etc etc from your text book).
2)Engineering materials(concrete, cement, aggregates, different ratios of water cement etc, mortar, bricks etc)
3) Building construction and estimation(different types of bonds, joints basics about estimation methods etc)
4)Fluid mechanics+soil mechanics(weirs, notches, orifices basics about Dams, canals, outlets, fumes, water flow and capacity units, soils, foundations etc)
5)Survey and transportation engineering(different survey instruments, different techniques of surveying, errors and accuracies in survey, and in transportation only focus on the basics of roads i.e different terminologies used in roads etc)
I have given you a general idea about studying the very basics of different subjects you had been taught. Do not ever go in complex designs of columns, beams, slabs, stairs, bridges, Dams, roads, tunnels etc etc, because these are advance level things which would be really very difficult for you to understand and have a lot of complex formulas which are difficult to remember and apply. So just keep in your mind, you only have to study the basic of your subjects.
I hope this may help you.

@The Shah Ends

Thank you ssssssssooo much. You have solved my half problems. I would always be obliged for your such a nice help.

Dear it's been ages I have done this degree and touched the books too. So, I have got a book of civil engineering, just reading its 2 chapters on daily basis.
Formulas to booht difficult hen, I am just ignoring them and reading other things.

and Please let me know the name of basic book for Civil? Thanks :)

You are welcome brother.
Actually the basic books are your own course books, if i started writing the names of basic books for civil then they too would be a bit advanced. So you just need to study the book you already purchased but only study the very basics from that book as i generally told you whatever you need to study. And i am of the view, that there are no MCQs' books for Sub civil engineers. Now you have to study basics from this mentioned book and you have to ignore these complicated formulas which you don't understand. Usually definitions, units and easy formulas would be enough in your case. I pray that you do it well. :)
Good luck.
