Why to protest when SPSC has confirmed through a notification that they would upload the re-corrected keys soon.

Sajid888 Wednesday, December 31, 2014 11:26 PM

Dear all friends, our destination is updating of correct keys and to minimize the percentage up to 40% as compared with FPSC. The chairman is fair man, thats why he had decided to provide a carbon copy and answer keys. This is the 1st time in the History of SPSC. We want only correct keys and minimize the passing percentage. Thats our basic right.

Why to minimize percentage criteria to 40%? Does this not urge those who got low percentage than 40???

The protest should be limited to the demand of re-correcting the answer keys.

In the process blame games should also be throw aside.

there are many reasons to set 40% criterion:
1. 33% is passing criterion of compulsory subjects of pcs subjects
2. 40% are passing marks of compulsory subjects of css
3. fpsc also set 40% for its screening test which was later on cancelled
4. constitution of pakistan prescribes written and viva voce parts for competitive examination, then why screening test has been conducted.

These reasons were considerable but only before attempting Screening test. It is not acceptable after the result is announced. In attempting test, you gave tacit declaration to 50% criterion. Saying meal is poisonous after eating it all is not rational.

how would you come to know until you don't eat the meal? what is your logic? so you mean you have the ability to just smell and tell if the food is poisonous?

Brother! No need to be personal, read my post again. I said; "... after eating it 'all' " This mean why didn't you raise your voice when you first had seen the test (in the middle of meal) or protested just after the test??? Why it is, after result announcement.

First of all, be informed that result has not yet been announced. Secondly, i want to ask you a question, will you agree to result if spsc enhances passing criteria of subjects in main written exam to 60% or 70%? Lastly, prescriptions of constitution of Pakistan are inflexible; these are as valid now as these were before the test was conducted. Courts will not care whether we boycotted test or not.
