Just wanted to know if this is a good organisation, what are growth prospects and role of officers of this dept.

I would appreciate any information about it. thankyou.

yasmeen it is not a good organization. very short salaries, slow promotions, it is some thing like a police organization.
as far as role of this organization is concerned, it has to do nothing but to eliminate encroachments.
if one is appointed as A.S.I or above grade post in this organization then it is fine to avail this opportunity.

No future and strategy of this organization. Previous appointment of Constables and ASIs, issue of their salary and discharged from services is a question about their hierarchy administration. Besides this approximately 1000 Police personnel were inducted from Sindh Police with the dream of especial encroachment allowances was only a paper work. Eventually Sindh Police personnel were returned to their parental District. In the bird view this is totally wastage of time.

if you are getting position at ASI or SI then avail it otherwise quit it, this department is full of problems. you will strange to know that sub inspector of anti encroachment doing their jobs with polio team. its not anti encroachment force but so called tapi force, senior batch has been fired due to completion of their contract, Moreover current batch doing job at bahria town.

For BPS 16 Supretendent. What does supretendent do? and is it possible to get transfer from this department on to some other better department later on? The training is done in police academy, so maybe later on one can join police force?

I checked with some family freinds and they only had negative words about the department :/ soem also said it is mere a 'joke department' with no duty or authority. There was also a salary issue... no salary has been given for last 6 months ?!?! i dont think a 'shareef' insaan can survive with no salary for 6 months, which mean this department is a hot bed for coruption, nothing else.

I will only apply if there is a chance of transfer to some other decent department, as I think it is also connected to FBR? any comments dear members?
