Literature is something entirely different thing than Essay and the same goes for Composition(Sindhi General) paper too. I'm not defending SPSC or any entity here, I just wanted to clear the air that Good/Excellent marks in Sindhi Literature and Sindhi General paper doesn't necessarily imply that one should pass Sindhi Essay paper too.


Essay is not about language(Grammar) or literature but the understanding of the topic involved and the way you convince that your ideas and arguments are valid.



P.S. I'm not defending anyone here. Its simply my understanding of why students fail in Essay while they grab excellent marks in Composition paper in CSS as well as PCS Exam.

All those who could not secure sufficient marks in any subject, their reaction is natural.

I may also be saying same had I failed. I just want to add here that I started practicing about sindhi writing after 17 years in feb 2015. Yet I passed essay paper. I never prepared for CSS or PCS nor went to any academy.

Moreover, I opted for geography on advice of a friend but when I scroll through contents, I was cursing myself. However, paper was quite simple and straight forward and Alhamdulilah I passed. Only problem was I was awake from last two nights when attempting paper.
And yes, I donot have any near or dear one in SPSC or in Sindh Govt.
I think luck has a big factor as these exams are totally like a gamble.
Nepotism aside, but I second incounternable words. Perhaps, I am among qualified, that is why.

I opted commerce as my optional subject. I attempted the paper quite well but unfortunately got 78 marks.

Being declared fail in Essay in Sindhi is not a big deal, but the way candidates have been declared fail in this subject is fishy. Please write to commiittee, that has been constituted by spsc in the stewardship of secretary, to record your objections.

Got 542 marks but failed in sindhi essay- 10 marks.

constitution of the committee means bili ko kehna k dhoodh ki rakhwali karo. Committee is not going to give relief. Only court can do so. So you are requested to join this movement being carried forward by active members of face book pages. Plz do visit

Brother u said that luck factor is in spsc (cce2013). .... I want to ask u that why the son of JUMA KHAN and the nephew of QAIM Ali shah are so lucky ..? Why the relatives of spsc members are so lucky ?
