Dear, the syllabus of GK is quite vast. You have to go through a couple of books to prepare its course. General Science by Razaullah for eds, WTimes magazine for Current affairs and Caravan objectives by Najib for the objective section will be helpful... regards

Default GK Paper Pattern
I have gone through past papers of General Knowledge including EDS, what i have observed is :

1. Current Affairs Question

2. Relations (with neighboring countries i-e, US, Afghanistan, China, Iran, India and Russia)

3. Capitals of different Countries

4. Cities and their Old names

5. Pakistan Affairs question

6. Books and their authors

7. Short Notes: WTO, EU, ASEAN, UNICEF, UNESCO, WHO, ECO, RCD, SAARC OIC, SCO etc.

8. Abbreviations

9. Heads of States

10. Find out places and their locations around the world

11. EDS Short Notes/definitions and inventions

May be u find this info useful and if you feel i have missed anything here, please feel free to add.

Default How many compulsory papers are there ?
I just forgot
that how many compulsory papers are ? and what are they, beside Urdu general, urudu essay, english general and english essay

and i received a tiny slip with my admission letter
this tiny slip has 4 boxes to write name and Three photographs is written on the top right of the slip, (what is that for?)

didn't receive such tiny slip? what is that for?
only received admission letter and enclosed therein time table
