Smile AETO and ETO

@ Yasmeen Lakho
In Sindh there goes same story as of Punjab. Only Inspectors and ETOs are directly recruited. While AETO is a promotion post. Inspectors having at least 15 years of service get promotion as AETO. Inspectors of 2001 batch have not sill got promotion.
Last time ETOs were recruited through SPSC in 1988. Since then no posts have been filled through competitive exam. In Sindh inspector excise and ETO are considered political posts. Mostly Kith and kin of politicians are appointed to these posts.
In public excise department does not have good reputation rather it issynonymous to corruption here.

All government servants and players pay taxes. Only politicians do not pay taxes in our country.
Taxes are deducted from government servants and common people but not from politicians.

THANKS
Eto means Excise & Taxation Officer which is a district officer as well . In big cities one Eto supervises one head...like ETO Motor branch, ETO PropertyTax...Eto Narcotics wing...etc..In small cities one Eto supervises all the heads...Eto supervises the Excise Police which deals with Narcotics.

govt servents pay tax and politician s dont.... thats not entirely true folks, nawaz sharifffff paid tax of 4500 few yrs back 😁😁😁

on a serious note... yes i agree 50% with you folks, politicians dont pay taxes but jahangir tareen of pti claims to pay 5 cror tax per anuum !!! he is an exeption i guess.

industrialist , politicians, land lords dont pay taxes . govt servents pay under compulsion as it is deducted at source probably.

the elite bourgesie will always exploit the masses. and they keep changing their form shape and face.😝😒

1.7 percent pakistani pay taxes . the predicament is twoway. citizens dont want to pay taxes because they donot have faith inthe govt and civil servents; who are notorious for their misappropriations and embezzelments and corruption...
the common man just does not beleive that the tax he will pay will return to him at all leave alone in a magnified way

@ Eueshah Latif

dear sister, i am a bit confused about the official structure of excise dept. is excise police a seperate wing ?? or inspectors from any wing acts like excise police?

if eto supervises excise police , then does he get police training aswell??

also explain about narcotics wing sister, they must be dealing with dangerous criminals , do they get police training etc?

Inspectors from any wing perform the duties of Narcotics Control. Donot get confused..Excise Police donot get training like the Punjab police. However, now after the 18th amendment, govt has planned to conduct their training in ANF headqurater Rwp.
Eto supervises the Excise wing but does not get specific training...
Dealing with criminals does not require training at all...you just need to have a courageous heart and strong authority who can deal with the Political pressure after the raid over the narcotics mafia.
