Default How to Attempt PCS Questions

Hello,

I will be thankful to all seniors if they shed some light on methodologies of attempting optional subjects questions.

I have the following queries:

1. Should we attempt optional subject questions in bullet point?

2. Should we attempt questions like an Essay but mentioning headings followed by small paragraphs?

3. Will it be easy for checkers if we write in simple layout not giving headings but only small paragraphs.

4. Should we give Intro heading and other headings if question is diversified and requiring a thorough analysis?

I will also be thankful if you guys tell me which method you adopted and how we can fetch good marks in optional subjects.

Thank you

1: No, you can not attempt answers in bullet points or synopsis.

2: Since you are attempting a descriptive answer, so you are supposed to attempt with headings and sub-headings. If the question is a short note. Then attempt it like that of paragraph.

3. However, In GK paper, there used to be an essay. So, that question should be attempted like we do essays in CSS. Checkers are well aware about answers, you just need to mention question number correctly and go for your attempt.

4. Yes, but it depends upon the nature of question. There are some questions which do not require intros. If question is analysis based, then you must attempt it with intro to conclusion.

Regards

Thanks for prompt reply. If a question is of generic nature , should we mention intro heading?

If we give headings and writing paragraphs beneath every heading is understandable but what touts to make me worried is that should we necessarily give intro and conclusion headings in each and every question or not?

Thx

Wonderland has dercribed the conditions perfectly..
Every answer starts with an intro, an answer is not considered to be an answer unless it doesn't have an intro..Intro is an outline of your answers which is supposed to be elaborated in body with the help of paragraphs..
Intro gives a quick outlook to a checker and helps him to understand how question is going to be formulated in main body..
Either you give heading of intro or not, it doesn't matter it is already understood..
But question in science related subject doesn't need any conclusion..conclusion is required in question which asks one's opinion in prevailing crisis, mostly questions of current affair, Pakistan affair or comparative questions in Islamiat

I would suggest to classify your answer with as many headings (ideas) as possible. Actually, it reflects ones grip on composition and the art of discussing and presenting matter with different dimensions, and that too with limited time.... This is what actually distinguishes a strong aspirant among others in the eyes of a checker.
.. regards

Thanks everyone for helping me.

Should we use different color pens while incorporating headings or can we use one color pen?

What about markers?

Thanks in anticipation

Yes you must use different colours. I use four tones in every paper.

whatever the way u adopt just satisfy the question by giving authentic answer like

define salat and through light on its implications in detail?

so ur focus would be on implications rather stretching the gum on the definition.
