Default Confusion regarding counting mechanism of 50% accumulative score in screening test.

Hello friends, please clarify my situation. I am so much anxious about it.
My attempt at Hyderabad centre.
Attempted: 48
Right: 32
Wrong: 16
I counted it as and considered pass:
32*2=64
16*0.5=8
64-8=56
But, my some friends argue that deduction of half marks mean deduction of question's half marks. As each question carries two marks so its half is 1 so 1 mark will be deducted. In this way my accumulative score is 64-16=48 i.e less than 50. Please help me whether I am pass or not. I am so much disturbed.
Its my request especially to incounternable and other respectable members of the forum that please address my query so that I may get myself out of this dilemma and start preparation for next phase.

In the revised syllabus, SPSC has mentioned that wrong answer will result in the deduction of 0.5 marks. OR say 0.25% of marks on each correct answer.

You are right bro ..half mark means 0.5 will be deducted on wrong answer it's not 50% of two marks.

Congratulations prepare for written examination

Thanks to all for these valuable comments. From all these comments, it's crystal clear that I have passed the screening test so now feeling relaxed. Hence without wasting time, I have started preparation for written part which in my perception will be conducted in the last month of this year.
