Aoa,
I have applied for Assistant Civil Engineer, BPS-17 Competitive Examination.
I want to know that what type of exam is CE?
Theory or objective or a mixture of both?
please guide me in that matter so i can start my preparation.

The exam would be subjective type
There would be 10 papers three compulsory(English,GK and Current Affairs and Pak studies/Islamiat),2 technical compulsory for each department (2 each for irrigation and 2 for public health engineering) and three technical optional subjects .

In some papers they can ask objective questions like in GK and CA paper they usually ask 20-40 marks GK(usually objective) and 60-80 marks current affairs which are subjective questions.
