dear what do you think how are they gona test the candidates in written portions of the test?
do you have any idea of how the question paper has to be?
and what a candidate should study for a successful attempt in it?
eve applied for english either.

It would be my first ever PCS examination. What I have heard about the test pattern is that it would probably be comprised of 50 MCQs ONLY. The division could be 30 Subjective (i.e from Literature/Linguistics in case of English) and 20 General Knowledge (Islamiyat, CA/PA and science etc combined) MCQs. This is by no means a final pattern. There could be variation in it if the SPSC wants to give the candidates an other surprise.

you are right redmax. test comprises of 50 questions, 32 frm subject and 18 from GK. atleast last year it was so. i had been selected lecture in last batch

Would you like to share your experience of the test in detail mentioning the total time allocated and any other technicalities?
