I have applied for the post of lectureship in English. But as nowadays I am trying to complete my CSS preparation, I have planned to give it three complete days before the test day.

I will go through the history of English literature plus the whole syllabus of M.A. Apart from that, let me tell you one thing, one colleague of mine told me that the test also covers various aspects of Intermediate English books. And I believe this statement to be true because that person is working as a lecturer in a government college and had topped the lectureship test in which he appeared (do not know the year). So do go through the books of intermediate once. Plus there will be questions from Islamiyat and current affairs.

They have not stated this in their syllabus though but it can be an exception. What I understand from this is that they might want to induct candidates with prior experience as fresh applicants would barely be aware of what goes around in intermediate books today. I would pay a glance to these besides syllabus.

Wish You Good Luck!

Bro, this is a subject-specific thread. The link you have posted shares information only on Economics subject whereas the one you are reading right now is specifically for the test of English Lectureship.

I received my admission letter today. It does not say anything about syllabus. However, it states that test will be consisting on MCQs from 75% subject-related, and 25% General Knowledge & Islamiyat. This means if the total question are more than 50, the division shall still remain same.
