Around 700 posts of ASI in Sindh Police has been announced today through SPSC.

whole the provcedure is written in the advertisement attched above:
in short, you can collect the form after submitting a challan of Rs 500 in national bank and account number is mentioned in the advertisement.

regional offices of SPSC are in Karachi, Sukkur, Larkana, and main office is in hyderabad.

A serious point to note is that the maximum age is 28 AND NOT 45, as per rules of most SPSC exams held last year! Has the age limit rule been reversed again? And will the same be applied to this year's CCE??

Brother such posts were announced in 2008
spsc has not taken exam of these post and after four year the spsc has again announced the such posts they are only looting the gareeb awam

Dear Malik:

ASI Syllabus will include following Subjects:

English General ( Words+Syn+Ant+Adjectives+Preposition+Tesnses+Activ e Passive+Direct n Indirect. short Essay. it may include translation as well)

Islamiat ( Read it very well, SPSC focuses Islamiat more)

General Knowledge ( countries, Capitals, Currencies, Leaders, Parties ETC)

Every Day Science ( inventions, Discoveries, chemical formulas: cover geography portion well. hopefully EDS portion will be of intermediate level)

hope it will work for you and give some way to prepare for the test.

Default Police Service related questions
While I am interested to apply for these posts, I feel that I have an higher aptitude than what is required for this job. However, while discussing my options with a freind who is already an inspector in the Sindh Police advised me that I should apply and appear for the test. If i am selected and indeed have a good track record, i can apply to appear in departmental exams and upon clearance will be given the rank of Inspector. I will be able to do so after approximately 1 year of service as an ASI. Any truth in his claim? Does the department allow such upgrades on request of the employee and can an ASI request to be allowed to appear in such departmental exams within an year?

general knowledge section in which islamiat eds and other related segments will be of objective type and english section consisting of Short essay and translation will subjective.
