Frenz i happened to b one of the candidates to have gone through the written test but i think the seats have alrdy been awarded as even the staff of Revenue deptt was assisting candidates in their test and i feel that merit is not goint to prevail for this job

yeah Addi you seems right but..dont worry ...be hopeful.. this is not just a last oppurtunity if you have spark something better waiting for you..

Guys i have received interview call from revenue deptt for my interview on which will take place on thursday 30th august,my brother has also been called for the same.I wanted from you guys whether all the applicants have been called for the interview or they have shirt listed after the written test,furhtermore what do you guys think that will the merit prevail or not.

well Be confident rest of all bad thinkings you should prepare yourself for good interview , definitely always there is a large no af chances of merit in any department mean 60 to 70% merit they adopted to efficiently working of there department .So, you should do hard.. INSHALLAH you will Surprise.

aadi khokar u r right brother,

after reading your post I checked with a freind of mine who works in Sindh revenue. He also said that interviews will start very soon and also training.

I have told him to check my name in list, hopefully he will tell me tomorrow, but he also said that thing that we fear the most..... "Koi Sifarish hey kya Terey paas". This somehow killed my hope of being called. Please pray for me

as far as interview is concerned i have some notes to prepare from,since i keep taking such tests,i have a fair idea of what is goint to come.

bro i can tell you very honestly that i dont have any recommendation from anyone nor do i believe in canvassing rather i detest it for its frustrating factor in our youth.I turned towards CSS,PCS and all such FPSC exams because merit prevails in their tests.
I pray sincerely that you also make.

Dear Aadil bro,

Thanks for the kind and encouraging words. And everyone would agree with you that nepotism is the worse curse directly effecting our youth and our society in a very negative manner. It is also contributing to brain drain and breeding crime in our society... Its a very sad and desperate situation. none the less we must pray , work with diligence and latch on to hope.

Bro, where is your interview scheduled? in Karachi or Hyderabad??

Do share with us how to prepare for interview and what to expect, as i am clueless. Once you have given the interview, please discuss in detail in this forum how it went.

Lastly do you have any idea what kind of a job this is and when and where training will start and how long it will be? Do try to find out during the interview. Ask the interviewer, it leaves a good impression and shows your enthusiasm and interest for the service.
