in spsc latest ad.. for commerce lecturer .. mba k lye kn c degree tick kare..coz thers is mba (life sciences nly.. what to choose?

M.com and MBA both are equal master degrees but in my point of view M.COM's worth is greater than MBA because if u want to do M.com then only the commerce students (b.com) can do it but in case of MBA the b.com,BA and any other course students can do it ...second one if u want to do teaching then M.com is better than MBA because M.comers have more clear concepts than MBA and more accounting knowledge than MBA. In M.com you have read the book of intermediate accounting which is the main difference between MBA and M.com students in case of knowledge. During MBA u have read the basic knowledge of accounting but in M.com already read out that books in previous courses.

Dear I don't agree with you. If we are talking about worth and positions it brings then M.Com is pretty worthless. MBA's are hired for all the top management positions. MBA is a expensive degree where as M.Com isn't and all the top tier institutes offer MBA like LUMS, IBA, etc. People belonging to all fields go for MBA because it's a worldwide recognized management course which means it has more scope and importance. M.Com candidates suffer in case there is a CA student because CA candidates are preferred when it's about accounting and finance. Thus, MBA is popular worldwide and more people opt for MBA course and not for M.Com

i agree with you but it is a matter of knowledge whether the MBA's have greater knowledge or M.Com in the field of accounting so i think the M.comr's have greater knowledge in the field of accounting.
