There are many factors which affect the matter but like its Pakistan, who cares

Ok thanks for the information but I think there is a difference between Open Merit and Mixed Merit. In open merit successful candidates or the top scorers are selected regardless of their gender. But this is not open merit, it is the mixed one. The ten percent of the total seats in a Taulka of both male and female are termed as Mixed Merit. It has already been clarified by the NTS in one of the three notes below the result of JST. In other words, even in mixed merit there are separate seats for both male and female. Giving females an extra 20 marks won't affect the merit in this way. The reason behind giving extra marks to females could be trying to better the over-all result which is to be reported to the World Bank lastly. That's what I understand. What do you say dear Ali Mallah?

Let me explain you in simpler way. There are fixed seats for male and female candidates each hence separate merit list for male and female will be prepared. Here no female can get any seat of male similarly no male can get female seat from the fixed separate quota. In this way 90% seats will be allocated to candidates UC wise.
The remaining 10% quota for JST is open for competition among male and female irrespective of any UC-specification (although its name is mixed quota but you can call it open merit based on taluka level as male n female both can contest). Here the contestants will be all the remaining candidates after UC-wise allocation. The candidates who have got high score but failed to get any seat due to unavailability of need based vacancy in his/her UC will also be able to get a seat for him/her

The maximum age limit for appearing in css is 28 years on 31st December every year normally. But there are certain cases where age relaxation is given like if you have government job (except autonomous bodies) for two years continously. means then you can appear till age of 30.
