i applied for the multiple posts but i need to find out that i received test call for two posts only and in that two posts shorthand is mandatory
did you receive the test call

What is short-hand? How is it written or typed? I have received the letter but don't know anything about short-hand!!!

Provincial Election Commission---senior personal assistant bps-17
@All,
Salam I applied for the post of Senior personal assistant/Assistant Private Secretary (Bps-16) in Provicial election commission, karachi, Sindh. i have receined the Memorandum for the test of shorthand/typing test on 2nd may 2013. I have never attempt such type of test. If anyone knows please guide regarding the test. Also who has applied for the particular post?

These assessments are certain timed exercises. The assessment consists of dictation, transcription and typing, and specifically measures speed, accuracy and shorthand skills. The shorthand typing test is in two parts: firstly the candidate must listen to an audio passage or just dictation and, whilst listening, they then must take shorthand notes which are then transcribed in the next.
