Dear Guddu and Mehwish, you can buy previous papers of CCE very easily at any good book depot.... "faridi's SPSC Syllabus and past papers" though it may miss some papers but its helpful...

Just look at the following synonym:
Partisan
(a) Partial (b) Biased (c) Favouring (d) Prejudiced

Almost all of them could be selected, but the correct will be what the examiner has in his mind. These are not muliple choice questions (MCQs) rather best choice questions (BCQs), in which all answers are correct but one answer is perfect (for which the paper setter is biased towards ). I have good experience of vocabluary tests but these type of questions make cramming the vocabulary lists useless, as all of them are going to to correct so who knows that even after cramming 5000 words you may not get the words crammed in the paper. And above all what if your crammed meaning did not match in the answer choices!

you are absolutely right I was thinking the same that all these meanings are inter-connected, more or less they seem to be same but one has to pick the best amongst those. Thanks for making it Aariz. Please help us with the idioms and adjectives too.
