Its has been cancelled due to cry of overage candidates in honorable court. Now its seem to be that they shall be allocated age relaxation, and the exam, will take too much time to held. Although surprising news for us but nothing we can do. The news is confirm. Mean while remaining lecturers tests will be announced soon in due course of time by spsc in her web page. Keep watching...

will spsc collect applications from overage candidates?

It is an other example of inefficiency of spsc to postpone screening test.

SPSC's image is worsening/spoiling by time. Mismanagement must be the reason behind this postponement.

This is really really bad....This is indeed hell.. Ek to CSS ki result late, thori boht kasar reh gai thi spsc ne nikal di... Really, these departments are playing with us and with our emotions. I have prepared well for screening test, burnt my mid night oils the result is this that the screening test has been postponed......I am preparing for CSS's next attempt, they are just derailing us and nothing else. If they wanted to postpone it then why they had announced the dates. They have totally derailed my preparation of both CSS and PCS...

If they are going to announce lecturers' tests then most likely the Screening test will be held after January....

By Our Staff Correspondent | 11/17/2013 1200 AM

HYDERABAD, Nov 16: The Sindh High Court`s Hyderabad circuit bench on Saturday issued pre-admission notices to the chief secretary, Sindh Public Service Commission chairman and four members, health and home departments and other respondents for Dec 17 on a constitutional petition seeking to declare the commission`s 2010 and 11 examinations results null and void.

Petitioner Dr Saleem Akhtar alleging nepotism in the selection of candidates for medical officers asking the court to declare the respondents` act illegal.

Represented by Advocate Ayatullah Khuwaja, the petitioner submitted that he appeared in the 2010 SPSC exams for the post of medical officer in the health department and was declared successful. He said he appeared before the interview commit-tee on March 21 but when the results were announced on April 6, he was declared unsuccessful. The petitioner claimed that the interview committee chairman, Syed Anwar Hyder, and member, Abrar Mirza, got their nine and three relatives, respectively, selected for the post.

In 2011, he stated, the SPSC announced 24 posts of MOs in the home department and he again passed the written examination. In the interviews held on June 14, he satisfied the interview committee but the results announced on July 2, 2012 again declared him unsuccessful.

The committee was headed by Hyderabad civil surgeon Dr Yaqoob Memon, who got his six relatives selected, the petitioner alleged, adding that SPSC member Shah Mansoor Alam got his two relatives and another member, Panah Ali Jumani, got his son selected.

The petitioner further stat-ed that in 2012, the SPSC announced 399 posts of MO in the health department and the interview committee comprised Syed Anwar Hyder, Shah Mansoor Alam, SPSC chairman Irshad Ali Shah, Abrar Mirza, Nawaz Ali Leghari and Ramesh Udesi.

He alleged that these people got their 90 relatives selected.

The petitioner stated that six candidates who failed in the written examination were cleared in the viva voce examination.

`The SPSC has a machine for conducting examination and issuing rapid results but even then it announced the results after a delay of 79 days,` he said.

He informed the bench that some aggrieved persons had field a constitutional petition with the SHC Sukkur circuit bench and it was pending adjudication.

In the 2003 SPSC combined competitive examination to fill77 vacancies, 51 failed candidates were inducted and aggrieved persons` petition in was pending disposal in the high court, he stated.

The petitioner further stated that respondent Juma Khan Chandio was a non-cadre officer but made SPSC additional controller in Hyderabad.

Despite directives of the apex court regarding deputation staff, the respondent continues to hold this post; the commission created a post `deputy controller` to let him hold the post, according to the petitioner.

Dr Akhtar complained that the respondent harassed and threatened him when he raised his voice against the SPSC authorities` illegal acts.

He prayed the court to direct the respondents to produce the records regarding SSP exams and relevant process from 2003 till date in court and not to harass the petitioner.
