Default Mathematics Lecturer Interview Preperation


Assalam 0 alaicom

We have to start practice for the interview of maths lecturer as it will be start from 22 September.

Kindly share your experience about interview if you already taken it.

I choose some main topics of mathematics. You all add more topics if I forget any of it.


Linear Algebra
Abstract Algebra
Calculus
Differential Equation
Numerical Analysis

There will be questions regarding current affairs and specially on Sindh along with mathematics as per i have came to known.... If anybody have experience kindly share

I also received my letter of Interview that will conduct on 3rd October 2014. I started preparation by solving questions of Intermediate book I & II. Besides, I also prepare for current affairs and islamic studies.

I collect some of the questions in this forum from different threads regarding current affairs and general knowledge that were asked from lectureship candidates of other disciplines. That are:

What is the real name of ghandi?
Headquarter of oic and un
Capital of syria and morroco
Un secretary general
Durand line length
What is one unit
1st c.m sindh

When and where tashkant pact held?
Who is first Hafiz of Holy Quran?
What is one unit? who introduced this concept?
How many districts are there in Sindh?
When and where first Islamic summit conferece was held?

3rd PM of Pakistan
Capital of South Korea
Budget related question
Population of Pakistan according to census since her inception

I do think besides that we also must know about:
Info of Pakistan (Geography and History)
Info of sindh (geography and history)

The questions of interview will not only including current affairs but also they about the subject knowledge, Pakistan and Sindh General knowledge and Islamiat.

Mine will be on 13th October. Kindly you will share your experience when you free from interview. My suggestion is that you also prepare for theoretical questions of mathematics.

Theoretical test has already been conducted. This will be vice voca/interview so concentrate on just verbal question specially formulas

They can also ask for Dua Qunoot or Fifth or Sixth Kalma so be prepared or that too

Its my interview on 25 sept 2014, any one who is appearing on 22-24??? Question will be asked from intermediates maths along with basics of islamiat, pak affairs and few from current affairs.
