Posts of Planning Officer (Economics wing) advertised in 2012 by spsc. Last date was 31.10.2013 and today 31.10.2014. Complete year has passed and we are kept unknown from any update.What a splendid performance by spsc! Now advertisement vide No: 9/2013 of that posts removed from spsc website. Can anyone tell us who is responsible for that delay? and what is status of these post now?

It "still" exists. Check it out.

They are not conducting written exam as usual. What else can you expect from them?

I expect same as you expect when you apply for any public service commission. Not only me but all other candidates those have applied and have been waiting since one year.They even not sure wether exam will be conducted or not.Recruiting process of spsc compare to other public service commissions is slow. There is need to enhance the performance of institution rather to be side of it.

the post of planning officer was announced twice, half of the applications or on manual system and other half application for the said post was submitted online, SPSC is engaged in completing the process of vacancies those who are in pending like, test conducted but viva delayed due to some reason, therefore one by one the are completing the full process of each post. so be patient the test will be conducted as soon as possible

When the written test for said post was announced,the total number of candidates were 252. After that a post of planning officer (urban) advertised. It will make a difference now. Please share syllabus and notes regarding this post.
