SRP is better because they can go to another department unlike district police. Because dist police is only bound for Districts.

Yes, it is a matter of fact, SRPs get promotion more faster than dist does.

chairman agha sahb, hesbani sahb.
we all know the aptitude of these two gentlemen.
as chairman was head for sukkur range candidates. and hesbani sahb was head for hyderabad range candidates. I too know the aptitude of panah jumani sahb, an other member of spsc, who was head for karachi range interview.
I noticed hesbani and chairman sahb along with interview performance were trying to find a police officer in candidate's personality. so during interview try to be as much serious as you can, avoid un-necessary smile. confidence is key tool to get success, so during interview must be confident( not over confident). I will also tell here further tips of interview, so this will certainly help you.
and yes you are right there are rapid promotions in srp. regards
