Default Which degree can help me in getting promotions in Police?

hi seniors salam,
With the grace of Almighty ALLAH i have been selected as ASI in sindh police through sindh public service commission. My age is 22 years. please seniors suggest me any degree which can help me a lot for getting promotions earlier in police department. I have recently done my masters in Economics.
Should i get admission in LLB?
What about masters in Sociology, having criminology an optional subject? after masters in sociology with criminology (optional) may i continue this degree for further higher studies like m.Phil or phd in criminology? if yes then how much it will be helpful for me? if you feel that above both choices or not good then please suggest me any other best option. I want to get full advantage of my little age. Desperately need your guidance. thanks

Before anything else, accept my heartiest congratulations on this humongous achievement.

Now the suggestion related to future prospects is that you should not do another Masters degree e.g. Sociology. Keep in mind that first earning degree in Sociology giving two or more years and then going for M.Phil is not a good choice espcially when you already have earned M.Sc Economics degree. In my opinion, you should search any university offering M.Phil in Criminology where you may get admission on the basis of your Economics degree. If it is so, it is the best choice. if not, I think, LLB and then LLM would be the degrees you should pursue.
OR you can just put your eyes over CSS exam and do it with single minded approach. Do not indulge in any other degree programme. Just do your duty properly and spare the time for CSS.
These are the ad-lib thoughts of mine. Thumbs up for you, dear!

thank you very much dear on such a nice guidance dear i was talking about getting enrolled myself from college side not regular. With the background of Economics no any university offering M.Phil in criminology specially in Sindh there isn't any university. you will strange to know that shah abdul latif university and some other universities are not offering M.Phil program even for sociology, criminology is another issue brother. Anyway i will definitely go through for CSS. thanks again my dear

In this case, you should first and last soar for the CSS/PMS/PCS exam. Just spare time for studies on regular basis. Try to pass any 17th scale job's test and get allocated there. As you have secured a job, your next attempt should be to get a higher scale, starting from BS-17. And CSS is, no doubt, the best thing to endeavour for.
Remember, at any stage, if you feel to continue a degree programme, LLB and then LLM would be best for you esp. if you remain in Police Dept. All powers to you!
