Default BPS-17 Sindh Pay Scale 2015
Dear Members,

I have received an offer letter from Sindh medical university, Karachi for the post of Lecturer (BPS-17) on dated 28-02-15. Pay scale mentioned (16000-1200-40000) plus usual allowances. Please guide me what will be my net salary as i know basic pay is 16000 PKR.

First of all congratulations that you gonna be 17th scale officer. Every department have different allowances. Now it depends on that university's rules that how much allowances it gives you. (16000-1200-40000) means that you will get 16000 salary per month, every year your increment will be 1200, You will get increments until your basic salary will be 40000. When your salary will reach 40000 after that you will not get more increments if you will be at 17th scale on that time

36,800/- approximately
u r appointed before june 30
therfore increment of 1200 mubarak ho, December 2015 ki salary m milay ga
plus budget m jitni bhi salary increase ho(Budget of Ur University)

So you mean its same, whether you are on contract or permanent.

Actually a friend of mine told me that ill get 12 to 15000 approx as I'll be on contract by Queen Mary College Lahore,not by the Gov.

the salary of contract(bps/sps-17) employee is different from Govt Gazetted officer
