I have something to share with the aspirants of cce that where candidates fail the pcs exam most.
In pcs, the record shows that most of candidates fail to secure aggregate score, 50 per cent overall. Unlike CSS where most candidates fail either essay or english, in PCS, even after passing the said-two papers, here candidates fail to get the minimum half of total marks in aggregate. Even in sindhi essay, sindhi general, candidates go through easily.
It is easy to pass individual papers because the pass marks are just 33 per cent in every subject, including the compulsory ones. However, Candidates fail to secure aggregate marks because of a number of reasons. First, the selection of optional subjects and the way or technique to attempt a paper also matters the most in attaining good numbers in any subject. Besides, some candidates fail to understand the nature and demand of a particular subject opted for the exam. It is , therefore, essential not only to hammer out subjects individualy but also to make every possible effort to get as much score as one can in order to cement ones chances of passing and also eyeing for better group at the end.
