Yes, selected candidates have been serving for more than 8 months now. One of my friends in SBP was selected as Section Officer and he resigned from SBP back in October 2011 to join his PCS job.

I think they were directly inducted into their jobs. No separate training program was conducted. However, I ll confirm it from my friend.

According to my friend, Section Officers were not offered any training program this year and they joined their office in October 2011 whereas DDO(R)s joined training program of about 5 months duration. SOs have filed a petition in the court on treating them separate from DDO(R)s interms of training opportunity which was denied to SOs and is contrary to previous years practice and other provinecs where all PMS/PCS officers are offered a combined training program.

That is discrimination. PCS Officers in Balochistan are imparted combined training in PPSA, Peshawar. However, still in Balochistan there is tussle between Secretariat Group and Executive Group over superiority/inferiority issues. :P

This discrimination has pushed officers to knock the doors of Courts. Hats off to fresh PSS group who dare to fight for their due right which is very obvious. If combined training in all provinces except Sindh is provided to those who come through Combined Competitive Examination than it is a clear invitation of Sindh Govt. to aggrieved officers to file a case in Court .
Court will definitely resolve this matter in due course and for court it will not be difficult issue because this is clear cut discrimination and current judiciary seems bitterly against these types of acts specially those from Federal or Provincial Govt.
Mujhe aj yeh sun ker had se zyada herat hue ke k combined training is given to both PSS and PCS together in Balochistan. I strongly encourage PSS officers to bring these facts before court. We all should hate discrimination and stand against those who chop off the due rights of people no matter we are directly affected from this move or not.
