Default Introduction and Outline.....seniors pls

1-Is colonial mentality impeding Pkistan's pregress?

The colonialists basic motive was to subjugate nations and use their resourses. To achieve this objective, they built institutions only to suppress and subdue colonies and to maintain hegemony.Civil servants were trained to deal with iron-fist.Censorship of press was strictly maintained.Racism and regionalism was incentivised to create a rift among common public. All these atrocities were committed in the name of modernism. An overview of our today's society shows that colonial mentality is extant even today. As colonialists squeezed the common man's blood to live their lavish life-style,the remnants of colonial mentality is doing same in our country.Unfortunately, colonial mentality has been hampering pakistan's progress since independence.

d)-An artificial rift was created between rulers and ruled, voice from the bottoms of the society was purposely suppressed.
e)-Economy was moulded to increase income-inequality.
f)-Common masses had virtually no voice in policy-making.

2-Colonial menatlity and Pakistan

3-conclusion
Colonialists had no personal or emotional attachement with the masses they ruled.Their basic aim was to quench their thirst for resources and gold. This resulted in ''callous'' system, where there is no place for common men.Unfortunately this system still persists with its vigour.
It is necessary that we should radically overhaul our system.Government should devise policies to liberalize, democaticise and modernise common masses.
