We don't often see much faith expressed in Pakistan's education system. It is broken, for sure, and at the heart of the rubble stands our confusion about the
language of instruction.
While, I have seen a number of experts speaking about the importance of local languages as the medium of instruction for at least the initial years of a child's education, there seems to be a divide between what experts say and what populace believes or at least what reflects in government policies.
