Start your preparation from the introduction of this subject, i.e. Origin & Development of IR as a separate discipline, Scope & subject matter of IR, the nation-state system, study the both World wars thoroughly, causes of the World wars, events that occurred during the wars, the social & economic impacts of the war,
Study the difference between International relations & international politics,
Definitions of nationalism, imperialism, economic imperialism, neo- colonialism, different types of international systems like democracy, capitalism & socialism etc.
First you must prepare the basics of the subject then go for complex topics.
