Yesterday i contacted airforce information center and asked the same he told me that only electronics and avionics degree holders are eligible.
If they mentioned word equivalent than other candidates are eligible since they havent mentioned so the rest of tge guys except avionics and electronics degree holder are ineligible.so your degree title must be among one of these two.
