I am ACCA member and working in a private limited company. I have applied for AD EOBI, what are career prospects at EOBI and do you want to switch? Regarding ACCA and CA,CA has an edge over ACCA in Pakistan but CA takes more time as you have to go through 4 years of training in an audit firm on a stipend of Rs.9000 PM,though recently training through industry has been introduced but this can be only at some good companies and banks but issue of money is still there. As far as ACCA is concerned, it has flexible examination system and you can take number papers that is suitable for you and training period at any private sector company will be counted towards membership.
