A rather immature question. Private companies are driven by profit and loss not by selfless public service. Money is certainly necessary but it should not be the sole reason for joining the civil services. Since politicians and bureaucrats look for themselves and their petty self interests then who is there left to serve the general population? Don't you think our country is where it is right now due to such self serving mentality.
