@Omer

Well Omer, although I didn't opt for Indo-pak history; yet my overall analysis regarding the length of the answers in rest of the optionals is as follows...

U have to attempt 4 long qs comprising 20 marks. Its merely not possible to attempt all of them of the same Quality and Length.. What I learnt and experienced is to attempt the best Qs u know on first number… Give your best in it…Be sure that it comprises more than 5 pages…. Obviously as you will proceed the length of your answers in last questions will go short…And the examiner knows this very well too...
I will suggest the following length and time distribution for all the questions.

Length of Answer:
1st Qs. 7-9 pg's
2nd qs. 6-8 pg's
3rd qs. 5-7 pg's
4th qs. 4-6 pg's

Timing Plan

MCQ : 30 min
1st subj. qs. : 50 min
2nd subj.qs. : 40 min
3rd subj.qs. : 30 min
4th subj. qs. : 30 min

hope it is helpful...

regards,
